Elmo TD4114IP II Indoor Network Dome Camera w/Audio Capability

The Elmo TD4114IP II presents a comprehensive solution for commercial CCTV applications requiring dependable round-the-clock security monitoring over a network. The camera captures video simultaneously in the MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats for better data management and features a Day/Night function to ensure maximum image quality 24-hours a day. Included with the camera is a 2.5-6mm varifocal lens, manually adjustable for near or distant viewing.

Simultaneous MPEG-4/MJPEG

Video is captured simultaneously in the MPEG-4/MJPEG compression formats, providing a user with better control over how data is distributed over a network. For example, it will allow a user to view live images using the lower resolution but faster MPEG-4 compression format, and at the same time send images to a recorder over the network utilizing the slower but higher quality MJPEG compression method.

Day/Night Function

A Day/Night function, activated by an IR cut filter, auto switches the camera from high resolution color to an ultra sensitive B/W mode, thus ensuring optimum picture quality 24-hours a day. In B/W mode, the camera produces visible images in light levels down to 0.05 lux.

2-Way Audio

By attaching a speaker and microphone to this camera's audio I/O ports, 2-way voice communication is possible between a PC user and a person at the camera location. This can be a useful feature in factories, retail stores as well as in distance learning applications.

Up to 50 Network Clients

Up to 50 MJPEG users and up to 3 MPEG-4 users can gain access to the camera from a remote location over the network.

Auxiliary BNC Output 

A secondary analog BNC output allows an installer to quickly check and adjust camera and lens settings using a handheld LCD monitor. It can also be used to ensure the camera's continuous operation in the event of network downtime.
